Mumbai High is an offshore oilfield located in the Arabian Sea around 160km west of the Mumbai coast operated by Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). L&T secured a contract including an order for MHN processing platform and living quarters.
Together with Cal Dive Marine Construction Ltd. we worked for Hindustan Oil Exploration Comp. Ltd. At the Bay of Bengal near Chennai; India. The job consisted Transportation & Installation (T&I) of the PY-1 Sun Wellhead Platform.
The local BUNDUQ OIL CO. awarded the construction contract for the offshore process platform to LARSEN & TOUBRO. DDC acted as clients representative for the installation and grouting of the insert piles and executing of all drilling operations.
Dragados SA has build a gulf breaker for the Harbor extension. We worked from a small Jack up barge, the Thames 12J343, on which the fibro block, drill rig, drill string and all auxiliary equipment was placed.
On request of Heerema a special top dril rig was designed by Wirth and DDC for Woodside Offshore Petroleum Pty. Ltd. to complete construction of the Goodwyn "A" Jacket
